To begin with, I would like to thank Dr. Nikravan for the amazing care he has provided me this past 2 years. Thanks to Dr. Nikravan I was able to save my thyroid and did not need surgery. Dr. Nikravan you are truly the BEST at what you do.
I met Dr. Nikravan about 2 years ago due to a Thyroid nodule. From my very 1st visit I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Nikravan immediately did an Ultrasound to see what my nodule looked like. Explained to me in detail how and why it looked like a suspicious nodule. Recommended a biopsy and accomodated me to his schedule within a few days. After my biopsy results came back (malignant) I was called back into his office for results and discuss the options for treatment. Removing part of my Thyroid was one of them or doing RFA. What is RFA? Radiofrequency ablation, or RFA, is a minimally invasive technique that shrinks the size of tumors, nodules or other growths in the body. RFA is used to treat a range of conditions, including benign and malignant tumors.
Given the size and location of the nodule Dr. Nikravan said I was a candidate for the procedure. I opted for RFA. Procedure itself was quick and I had an easy recovery. Whitin the 1st year there was a 82% reduction of the nodule. I then opted for a 2nd round of RFA for all remaining tissue to be zapped and as of today 1 yr post my 2nd RFA there is a 96% reduction and all you can see on my thyroid ultrasound is scar tissue. I am extremely happy with the results and that saved my thyroid. Seeing the before and after pictures of the nodule is actually mind blowing.
Doctor Nikravans Team is also very caring, knowledgeable, and attentive to all of the patient's needs. I also want to thank Melissa for being so passionate, caring and always ready to answer any questions I had. Thank you so much Dr. Nikravan and team for providing the best care and always going above and beyond for all your patient's.

Ms. Huynh had a follow up appointment with us yesterday, and she is always so kind, patient, thoughtful, thorough, and knowledgeable. She’s very good at explaining complex medical issues, so they are easily understandable. I appreciate her compassionate care for my daughter and how she takes the time to answer questions. My daughter adores her, and we like her too!

Dr.Nick is the best dr for dealing with my thyroid issues. He recently did a scan on my thyroid and discovered a spot that needs to be removed. It’s affecting my swallowing and causing me to have to clear my throat frequently. He’s going to be using a new technique to remove it that doesn’t require surgery which is great. Unfortunately it’s so new that Medicare doesn’t cover it. Good news is that we are able to pay for it ourselves. I also see his wife, Dr. Khorrami, for all other health issues and she’s also an excellent physician.

Thank you for listening and understanding after a year of no answers. Dr Nikravan said he’ll have me back to normal within the year! And I do!!! Thank you to Julie and Tiffany who have walked me through the dance of the right amount of medication and the correct medication.
